Grand Bazaar Campaign '13

This was the messiest campaign shoot I have worked on so far! But it was great fun to shoot, though gumboots were definitely a must!

Working again for Adelaide Fashion label Alice in La La, I was asked to shoot the campaign for the Adelaide based accessories label, Grand Bazaar. Our main inspiration was the classic 90s movie 'The Craft', so we headed off to a boggy, dark, cold area at the end of the River Torrens to shoot. 

Most of the day was overcast, so we had perfect soft, moody light, but at the end of the shoot the sun appeared to give us some amazing shots with beautiful lens flares.

Sandalwood

I love the light in this shot.

We had a great time frolicking through the forest for this shoot with the lovely Loren, a  fresh new face at Pride models. The forecast was originally 37 degrees, but the weather decided to adjust itself to give us the perfect shooting conditions; when the sun did finally poke it's head out from behind the clouds it trickled through the  pine trees just perfectly.

We had lots of fun playing dress ups with the gorgeous pieces from Somethin Somethin boutique, the knits looked so cozy and warm! I just wanted to snuggle up in all of them.

For the first time i had the pleasure of working with a professional stylist on this shoot, the lovely Lauren Dilena. She hand picked out all of the pieces for the shoot, and as you can see the end result was amazing. It really makes a huge difference when you work with a great team.

Yesterday i had the pleasure of shooting a personal project with an amazing team - everything seemed to just work out perfectly for this shoot, even the weather!

It is always great fun shooting with a fresh new face and being able to play dress up's all morning.
